The library has a new scanner called the KIC Scanner. You can scan books, sheets of paper, etc. You can have it create PDF or JPEG images, then you can either save them to a USB drive, or email them to yourself (or anyone else). You will find the KIC Scanner on the first floor of the library where the photocopier is located. (Enter the library, straight ahead, then look to your left--across from the stairway entrance.)

KIC does not save in Word document format. But, you can create images (JPEG) and then insert them into a Word document.
