You might try searching in either ERIC or Education Research Complete.  These database can be found on the Web page below and both database index scholarly journals.

When you are searching in the databases you can limit the search results to scholary peer reviewd items.  Look closely for a box to click on to limit the research.  Then you can enter your search terms.
